Production cells

The company Kops pro is divided into five manufacturing cells: two service cells (cutting and varnishing) and three manufacturing cells.

Each cell contains operations in a logical succession: bending, spot welding, welding and installation.

Three manufacturing cells are organized according to clients, type of material and size of products.

Each cell employs 5 to 8 workers. According to the needs, some workers are transferred from cell to cell and thus take care of a better flexibility of the factory.

Cell manager takes care of organization of work in a cell. One of his tasks is also short-term planning of work in a cell.

Manufacturing cells have enormously reduced the complexity of organization of manufacture which now operates much better than before the reorganization without any investments in expensive computer programmes for running the manufacture processes.

Punctuality in delivery has improved. Number of missing parts has decreased and the quality has increased.
